All Danica Cosic Design products are individually handcrafted by skilled artisans. The slight variations you may find add to the unique beauty and personality of each piece. Our designer, Danica Cosic, personally travels to the local Moroccan villages to oversee the hand embroideries being carried out by the local women and travels to each of the artisan ateliers to work with the leather and metal craftsmen. Danica makes it her duty to work hands on with the artisans, to see to it that each item is executed as close to the original as possible. Often, the items are carefully handled by more than one artisan to bring you the best each craftsman has to offer. The photos you see on our website have been taken to give you the truest image, detail and color of each item.
Colors: We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products on the website. However, the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.
Availability/Lead Times: Due to the nature of our business and how work with the artisans is carried out, all items are made to order. In some cases longer lead times are required. Delivery times vary based on the item as well as on the number of hands working on an item. It is our goal to create the most beautiful items possible and as closely matched to the original. To bring you the best, artisans are encouraged to pay close attention to detail. We believe that when time is taken to make an item the results will be most appreciated and the details best highlighted. Once items are ready we will advise on a schedule for delivery fromAfrica.
Shipping: Most items will ship directly fromMarrakech,Morocco and shipping costs will vary based on weight, quantity and final destination but please know that we will do our best to ensure the quickest and most cost effective mode of transport. In some cases items will ship fromNew York and in these cases delivery will be much quicker.
Return Policy: When considering returns, please keep in mind the journey your item has made as well as the hard work carried out by each artisan and the many hands your special piece has passed through. Each design is unique and has a story to tell therefore returns are not accepted at this time.
